Tom McEvoy a.k.a “Poker chump” is actually a champ when it comes to his favorite game. He has a good stack of 4 WSOP bracelets and multiple authoritative poker guidebooks to his credit, making him one of the pro poker’s truly enduring and consistently successful players. Tom created poker history by being the first to win in a WSOP event only simply entering a satellite tournament.
His hometown is Grand Rapids in Michigan area is a far cry from his current location, which is Las Vegas – the gaming capital of the world! He lived there with his wife and 3 grown children for many years; however, Tom is now single. This US poker star entered the world on November 14 and just 5 years down the line, while still on his grandmother’s knee, he started playing cards. CloutierMcEvoy pro and poker star Max Stern, to name a few.
Tom McEvoy won the main event in the 1983 World Series of Poker, which came in close on the heels of his first bracelet earned 6 days ago this honor. Other career highlights for Tom McEvoy include a truly remarkable 37 in-the-money finishes across his career, 18 WSOP final table positions in addition to the 4 WSOP Bracelets mentioned earlier.
